Nelson Mandela once said, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.” On the evening of Dec 9th 2017, New Acropolis, Bangalore was the host for this interesting public talk and guided discussion. The lecture revolved around understanding the idea of Why should we fear becoming powerful beyond measure? It also illuminated aspiring Philosophers learn more about the existence of ancient ways to see better beyond the illusion of the matrix, to look at what was, and possibly still is for some of us, worth fighting for. It revolved around understanding what is misery and what causes it. It emphasized on the practical approach in dealing with it. With countless things to do and responsibilities that life demands from us, the only one thing that is really needed is to live our lives deeply and mindfully.
