On 9th February 2019, New Acropolis (Khar Branch) hosted a public lecture titled “Seeking Simplicity”. Using various examples from day-to-day life, the speaker demonstrated that circumstances and situations often only appear complicated due to our partial and subjective perspectives that cloud the ability to grasp the objective reality. It was proposed that Life perhaps is truly simple, as it follows a set of universal and timeless principles.
The key to tuning into this simplicity lies in facing life’s challenges, as opportunities of growth, through the investigation and overcoming of the illusory obstacles that limit us. The resulting objectivity can help us move forward, towards simplicity, and grasp what is truly essential in life.
