Our choices determine how happy or satisfied we are in our life. Yet it is often difficult to be decisive since what is right and what is comfortable to do, don’t always match. But maybe if we choose to follow the path of truth and virtues, we will learn to positively impact our own self and in turn our society.

In the movie ‘ The Matrix’, Morpheus challenges Neo to make a decision about how he wants to live his life. If he takes the red pill then he will be on the journey to true knowledge but if he takes the blue pill then he will continue to live in ignorance. The ‘Allegory of the cave’ written much earlier (nearly 2500 years ago) by Plato also highlights similar ideas related to our freedom of choice and therefore its consequences.

Join us for this talk where we will draw inspiration from ‘ The Matrix’ and ‘The Myth of the cave’ by Plato.
This talk will give you a glimpse of the second part of the Living Philosophy course, which covers ideas related to Sociopolitics.

This event is Second in the
‘Glimpse into Living Philosophy Course Series’
With meaning in life there is a sense of being alive. We dare to dream and become able to turn them into reality. We learn to turn mistakes into stepping stones. Could it be that deep within our heart we we already know what our purpose is? May be all we need to do is to dare to open our hearts and our mind.
