The summer is a time when all of life colorfully blooms. It naturally follows that various cultures around the world mimic this expression by exuberantly celebrating as well. Members of New Acropolis in Mumbai got together to celebrate a summery evening of fraternity and culture on 24th June, 2018. A thought provoking play depicted a modern day rendition of the Greek myth of Perseus’ battle with the Gorgon Medusa as an analogy of how we become daily heroes by facing our own day-to-day struggles with courage and glory. The play was followed by music and dancing, culminating in a scrumptious meal prepared by the members.
