In a city that never sleeps, where the rhythm of life often drowns out the nuances around us, volunteers from New Acropolis Mumbai are set to unveil a thought-provoking initiative at the Maha Mumbai Expo being held from 20 to 28 January at MMRDA grounds in Mumbai.
Teaming up with the Mumbai Festival, New Acropolis Mumbai is scattering 20 street signs with a Philosophical perspective across the MMRDA Grounds in BKC from January 20th to 28th.
The project takes ordinary images from the vibrant streets of Mumbai and transforms them into beacons of inspiration, meaning, and humour. Aspiring philosophers aim to engage fellow Mumbaikars by encouraging them to view the city through a new, philosophical lens. These installations are designed to remind everyone that life is inherently meaningful, with its richness stemming from our individual perspectives.
The volunteers believe that even the seemingly mundane interactions offer profound lessons if one learns to look more deeply. By ascribing simple yet profound philosophical messages to common street signs, New Acropolis is inviting Mumbaikars to rediscover the depth within their beloved city.
Visit the Maha Mumbai Expo to witness the canvas of philosophical reflections, as New Acropolis Mumbai encourages residents to look beyond the surface and discover the profound meanings hidden in the everyday.
