Not knowing what it is all about, we usually look to someone else to tell us about the purpose of life. But can we discover it ourselves ?
New Acropolis (Main Centre) hosted an interactive talk – FAQ’s of life – A Philosophers Search for Purpose on 8 October 2022. Set in a panel format, the speakers highlighted that man does have a role and purpose to play in the web of life just like everything in nature. Using the Allegory of the Chariot from Plato to showcase our human nature and how giving our lives a direction along with developing tools to live with more Truth and Meaning may allow us to bring this clarity to live a more purposeful life.
