Fri 12th  Aug, 7:30pm (2 hrs)

Welcome to the third and final event in the “Live Adventurously” Event Series where we will explore how practical philosophy can be a tool to help us make courageous choices in our day to day, and to live more authentically in the various contexts and circumstances of our lives – be it our work place, our relationships or other interests and goals.

About this Talk from our Instructors

The Samurai warriors of Japan were fearless opponents, not because of their physical strength, but because their way of life demanded they develop virtues like courage, compassion and self-control. How can we face our daily challenges with the inner strength and stability of the Samurai?

To make the most of this event:

  • Please be there by 7:15pm to meet other Aspiring Philosophers.
  • Look forward to Q&A with the Instructor at the end of the Talk
  • The session will contain a short break with Tea/Coffee and light snacks. Use the time to interact with other participants.
  • Volunteers from New Acropolis will be available to receive and help you. Please ask them all your questions!
