All of us inherently want to be good and happy, but how can we strive towards this and make it part our lives? Using inspiration from the timeless wisdom of Stoic philosophers, the session presents key principles such as taking responsibility over our actions, the freedom to choose how we respond to situations that are beyond our control and how to live the idea of goodness.
The upcoming course opens on Wednesday, 6 December, 2023. The course lasts 19 sessions that include experiential practices. The ‘Living Philosophy’ course combines ideas conceived by important philosophers, from the east to the west. You will be introduced to ideas from different cultures and civilizations. Each class is designed to help you reflect, introspect and bring these ideas alive in your daily life. This course aims to make ancient philosophy accessible to the one who seeks to build himself and his future by cultivating a philosophical approach to life.
This Event is hosted by New Acropolis Bangalore, a School of Philosophy, which is run and managed completely by volunteers, who come together in the common pursuit of Philosophy as a way of life.
