On Sunday, 08th October 2023, New Acropolis Pune hosted an evening of storytelling with the central theme of “Choosing Unity – Building a Better World”.
Using the ‘Allegory of the chariot’ by Plato, the speaker highlighted the importance of bringing inner harmony in order to bring harmony externally. Through philosophical stories from African tribes, real life heroic tales and some Zen stories, the speaker highlighted the importance of courageous and ethical choices for a nobler cause beyond personal comfort in order to build a better world.
