“Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be One”  – Marcus Aurelius

All of us inherently want to be good and happy, but how can we strive towards this and make it part our lives? These were some of the concepts explored in a panel discussion titled  Above all Be Good: A Stoic Guide to a Meaningful Life hosted by New Acropolis Main Centre on August 7, 2021.

Using inspiration from the timeless wisdom of Stoic philosophers, the speakers presented key principles such as taking responsibility over our actions, and the freedom to choose how we respond to situations that are beyond our control, to explore and live the idea of goodness.

The panel suggested that by recognising our role & responsibility as human beings and putting it into action, can help us find true happiness.
