Over 90 members of New Acropolis Main Centre in Colaba got together on 14 March 2023 to welcome Spring. The new season is a time to mark the expression of renewal and revival, which many cultures around the world celebrate in different forms such as Holi, Baisakhi, Easter, Navroze. Spring is a time when the Earth experiences more light after the Winter months representing new life, new beginnings and new opportunities that we can all aspire and work towards. The vibrant change in energy was showcased through performances of dance representing a blossoming flower in the spring breeze and a song written to the popular tune of a sea shanty. Everyone then joined in for a yummy meal put together by the volunteers.
These celebrations are a reminder to work with the cycles of nature and encourage us to be the best version of ourselves full of hope and optimism.
