Talk and guided exercise | Free admission | Experience a session from the Living Philosophy course

The myths across cultures of the ancient world, as opposed to being just stories, are a means of education and connection to certain deeper and universal realities of life. In particular, the mythical hero’s journey presents to us an approach of the fight for a meaningful life and calls upon us to develop virtues like courage and love in our day to day life. By looking at these myths through the language of symbolism, we can awaken the hero’s myth in our own lives.

This session gives you a glimpse into the Living Philosophy course, which covers 19 sessions that include experiential practices. The course combines ideas conceived by important philosophers, from the east to the west. You will be introduced to ideas from different cultures and civilizations. Each class is designed to help you reflect, introspect and bring these ideas alive in your daily life. This course aims to make ancient philosophy accessible to the one who seeks to build himself and his future by cultivating a philosophical approach to life.
