SuRc, a clothing brand promoting zero wastage garment manufacturing , recently planted 1000 saplings to celebrate World Environment Day, in the name of Covid Warriors as a gesture of gratitude for making a difference to the community in times of need.
A sapling in the name of New Acropolis Cultural Organisation was planted in recognition of its “Plateful of Love Initiative” which since its launch has delivered over 700 home cooked, healthy meals free of charge to those in need.
Frontline staff such as doctors and medical staff at vaccination centres on duty have also been the recipients of this small gesture of generosity prepared with love by volunteers and well wishers from New Acropolis.
Such an initiative, demonstrates a small practical and impactful change towards making our planet a better place.
