The days between 29th March and 10th April 2016, witnessed the Main Centre at Colaba buzzing with activity. Members spent time and energy to renovate, repair and improve the premises that host the school. During these days, members carefully designed & planned the aesthetics, followed up by hours of painting, plastering, cleaning to bring about a renewed energy to the centre.
While working, they also discovered in a practical way concepts of beauty, effort, rhythm, teamwork and efficiency. True to the spirit of volunteering (one of the pillars of the organisation worldwide), members showcased how self-reliance and using one’s own hands brings about a special meaning to the work we do.
The centre has now been rejuvenated with a new ambience to host many more classes and events.
