On 10 February 2024, New Acropolis main center in Colaba hosted an evening of Philosophy and Poetry to delve deeper into the profound connections between poetry, life, and the pursuit of beauty in an evening titled “Discovering Life’s Beauty: An Evening of Philosophy & Poetry”. Through the lens of poetry, participants explored the profound messages hidden within the mundane aspects of life.
From the graceful dance of Wordsworth’s Daffodils to the soul-stirring verses of Rabindranath Tagore, each poetic expression served as a mirror reflecting the beauty hidden within life’s everyday moments.
As the talk unfolded, it became evident that the pursuit of beauty is not just an aesthetic endeavor, but a transformative journey that enriches the soul and can help infuse our lives with greater depth, meaning, and beauty, drawing from the timeless wisdom of poetic expression.
In a reflective activity, participants also used the time to pen down and share their own poems indicating that in a world often fraught with chaos and uncertainty, Beauty is not confined to the realms of art and nature; it resides within the depths of our own consciousness.
