On Saturday 14th September 2019, New Acropolis (Khar Branch) hosted a talk titled, ‘Hercules Today: The Birth of a Hero’. The speaker explored various concepts from Greek Mythology to suggest how they might still be applicable to our daily lives today, emphasizing that it is by overcoming his challenges, that Hercules becomes as though a God. So too, by courageously facing life’s daily challenges as opportunities of growth, we might awaken our own heroic human potentials.
