We interact with life using our five basic senses. Anthroposophist Dr. Rudolf Steiner spoke of an additional seven senses to experience and understand the world around us in a better way. On 6th May 2017, curative eurythmist Dilnawaz Bana delivered a talk titled “Twelve Senses” at the New Acropolis Main centre in Colaba.
The talk outlined how the 12 senses can be understood as a step towards developing a philosophical perspective. The speaker suggested that working with all the twelve senses right from the formative years helps in developing perception and observation that aids in creating a stronger relationship with our environment.
