The Art Products Department at New Acropolis (Main Centre) conducted a workshop on Australian Aboriginal Art on 6th July 2019. Aboriginal art is rooted in storytelling, such as dreamtime tales which are said to explain the origins of their environment, the landscapes and the animals.
At the workshop, adults and children explored the technique of dot painting on two dimensional animal cutouts of Kangaroos and Turtles. Through this technique, participants also practiced rhythm and movement.
