She is passionate about innovative climate education and driving behavioral changes. Vidya’s work focuses on enhancing public understanding and promoting sustainable practices. Her goal is to inspire meaningful changes in how people engage with climate issues, aiming to foster a proactive and informed approach to environmental sustainability.
Prachi Gupta is a faculty member at the School of Climate Change and Sustainability, Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, India. She holds a PhD in Forest Botany from the Forest Research Institute, Dehradun, India, where her research was focused on the wood anatomy of Indian oaks. Her current work involves estimating the age and carbon sequestration potential of heritage trees. Her broader interests include climate change education, curriculum development, and the resilience of urban trees.
