Lessons from ‘Bushido – The Soul of Japan’

On Saturday 6^th March 2021, New Acropolis Pune Branch hosted an online event ‘Let’s Live: Reviving the Spirit of the Samurai’. It was the third of four book reading sessions in the series called ‘Let’s Live the Timeless Treasures.’
The talk was based on excerpts from Inazo Nitobe’s book ‘Bushido – The Soul of Japan’, and explored Code of honor of the Samurai of ancient Japan , in order to see what  we could draw from those eternal principles to apply in our lives today. Few virtues investigated were Rectitude, Courage, Politeness and Benevolence, amongst others.
