On the 20th of April, 2014, fourteen volunteers from New Acropolis India North visited Asha Dan, a home for destitute and disabled people started by Mother Theresa in Byculla, Mumbai and run by the Sisters of the Missionaries of Charity.
The participants conducted a craft session, screened some educational videos and organized a mehendi (henna) application session for the girls, which were well received by the children. At the same time, the event was a good opportunity for the volunteers to learn from the interaction.
