New Acropolis (Pune Branch) marked World Philosophy Day on 23rd November 2019 with a talk titled ‘Tagore, the Poet Philosopher’. Through excerpts from Rabindranath Tagore’s poetry, the speaker explored the themes of harmony, unity and happiness. As offered by his timeless wisdom, it was suggested that to attain these values, one must re-orient oneself towards a humanistic approach.
