On 23rd August, 2020 Volunteers of New Acropolis (Main Centre) conducted an online activity in collaboration with NGO Kshitij for developmentally challenged adults titled Hum Mein Hai Hero (literally translated as “There is a hero within us”). Volunteers narrated heroic tales from mythology and participants drew their own caricature versions of a hero, also using the time to reflect on what it means to be a hero in our everyday life. Through the activity, volunteers from New Acropolis aimed at sharing the spirit of being an everyday hero to overcome challenges & obstacles of life.
