On Sunday 2nd July 2023, Pune Branch had the opportunity to host the National Director of New Acropolis – Yaron Barzilay, for a talk titled “Weighing of the Heart – Egyptian Key to a Meaningful Life”. The speaker shared a brief background of the history of Egypt and highlighted some key lessons from this ancient civilisation.
Having shared some visuals of their lasting architecture and some of their symbols, the speaker explored the meaning behind ‘Weighing of the Heart’ from the ‘Papyrus of Ani’- which is an ancient Egyptian manuscript related to death and judgement in the afterlife.
