On 17th November 2023, New Acropolis Pune branch hosted a talk titled “Finding a Way out of the Maze – Lessons from Mythology”. The speaker spoke about the idea that all mythologies have symbolic meaning that can be unveiled if we learn to go beyond the story and extract deeper lessons towards improvement.
By referencing the myth of ‘Theseus and Minotaur,’ the speaker drew parallels between the labyrinth in the myth and the complexities of contemporary life. Through decoding the symbols embedded in the narrative, the speaker emphasized the cultivation of values and attitudes essential for embarking on a heroic journey towards freedom.
