New Acropolis Mumbai hosted a fun filled vibrant event  – the Philosophical Fair on 17 March 2024, where attendees immersed themselves in a mix of activities designed to nurture the mind, body, and soul. From the tranquil art of Ikebana, to the culinary delights of a cooking workshop, participants delved into a diverse array of experiences

Purnima Shah guided enthusiasts through the delicate art of creating harmonious flower arrangements in the Ikebana session, while culinary aficionados uncovered the secret tips behind making delicious food in the “Flavours Unleashed” Workshop.

 

Anuja a trained dancer , facilitated a workshop on “Rhythm and Concentration through Movement,” emphasising the power of simple body movements and beats in fostering concentration and awareness. 

Hands-on engagement with DIY activities was also encouraged as  participants revelled in the creation of miniature natural worlds through terrarium making, experimented with essential oils, explored the concept of concentration through mandala creation, and self-expression with artist and educator Yash Gupte in the “Learning with Art” session.

 The Philo fair provided a platform for individuals to showcase their talents and creativity through an open mic session, featuring poetry recitals, a magic performance, songs, and more. Attendees were  treated to a variety of stalls offering a diverse range of products, including food, fashion, art & craft, games, and books, ensuring there was something for everyone irrespective of age.

The Philosophical Fair aimed to cultivate not just interaction with a larger Philosophical community, but also coming together to explore new ideas, engage in meaningful conversations, and unleash creativity.”
