On 19th January 2019, New Acropolis (Khar Branch) hosted a public lecture titled ‘Walk the Talk’. Using various day-to-day examples, the speaker highlighted the fact that although, as human beings, we usually know the honorable and dignified way of conducting ourselves, we don’t always have the capacity to convert that knowledge into action. Instead of acting virtuously, we often choose the easier, more convenient, and reactive way of dealing with our everyday situations. It was suggested that many of the ancient traditions around the world, offered the ability to bridge this ethical gap, as the primary purpose of the human being, as means to further the evolution of consciousness.
