On Sunday 9th February 2014, volunteers got together at the Shantivan Garden in Mumbai. This event was led by the New Acropolis Mumbai Center to help clean this nicely forested space in the heart of the city.
The result of the exercise was the first glimpses of a natural space which could be a platform for cultural activities in the future.
Also assisting the event was child-volunteers from a local NGO called “apun ka club” that operates from the Shantivan Garden. They put up a gymnastics and dance performance for the group which got much applause!
The event was attended by 33 volunteers.
