On the 17th of April 2021, New Acropolis Culture Circle hosted an evening of Sufi music (online) with singer Radhika Sood Nayak. A disciple of Shri Dayal Thakur, Radhika’s romance with Sufi music began with Sufi mystic Bulleh Shah’s poetry.

Radhika explained and sang from some of the lesser known great Punjabi Masters of the Sufi tradition; Hazratbal Sultan Bahu, Shah Hussein and her inspiration Bulleh Shah.

Through songs and couplets, Radhika explained how the great masters spoke about the union with the divine. This theme of oneness with the Guru, that goes beyond religion, beyond rank or the study of scriptures.
