On Saturday, 11th January 2020, New Acropolis (Khar Branch) hosted a talk titled “Becoming a True Leader” to explore the importance of leadership in our world, and the necessary attributes required of a real leader to empower sustainable change.
The speaker emphasized the need for leaders to first learn to lead themselves in order to lead others, and offered philosophy as a means to forge such an ethical direction.
It was proposed that each of us has the opportunity to become real leaders in our own daily lives; to take responsibility, to prioritize the collective good over personal gain, and to unite our actions with our understanding of the Good.
