On 26th September 2021, New Acropolis Main Centre organized a session titled Work with Nature  at the BMC Rock Garden, Napeansea Road (Shantivan). To facilitate a more eco friendly waste management, 27 volunteers put together 4 composting pits for the green waste collected at the garden .

Volunteers of New Acropolis explained the principles of composting and conducted a hands-on session with the participants using the opportunity to explain the importance of such important measures that help our eco system in a small but important way.

One of the participants sharing their experience mentioned “I understand now that there is a delicate web of life in which each form plays a role and all assist each other in discovering a purposeful existence. In nature there is no waste and decay, and death is only a stage of  transformation.”

This activity helped in a small way for  volunteers to understand how our well being as humans is intrinsically related to the well being of our ecosystem.
