On 10th October 2021, New Acropolis Colaba organized a follow up to the first Work with Nature session (held on 26 Sept)at the BMC Rock Garden, Nepeansea Road (Shantivan).
Volunteers attended to the 4 compost heaps created earlier, by facilitating aerobic activity to help microbial development. In a practical manner participants not only learnt the process of composting but also our role as human beings an integral part of Nature.
As a preparation for the next session volunteers identified and measured a garden patch that will soon be planted with seasonal herbs and vegetables.
We will be continuing with these ‘Work with Nature’ sessions on a regular basis at the Shantivan Garden, do reach out to us if you wish to volunteer !
