On 8th December 2018, the Social Solidarity Department of New Acropolis (Khar Branch) conducted an activity titled “Heroism” in collaboration with Angel Express, an NGO that works with underprivileged children. The goal of the activity was to explore what it means to be a hero in everyday life.
The activity started with fun warm up exercises, and was followed by interactive discussions that encouraged the children to identify heroes with whom they might have interacted with on a daily basis, to discern the qualities that characterize real heroes. Through a variety of role-play exercises each participant was encouraged to discover heroic qualities within themselves.
